Visiting Singapore for a holiday, a stopover or business? A travel eSIM gives you mobile data as soon as you land at Changi, for ride apps, maps and messages.
Why use an eSIM here
- Data from the moment you land at Changi Airport.
- No SIM shop queue or paperwork on arrival.
- Keep your home number for calls and bank texts.
- Perfect for short stopovers and business trips.
How to get connected in 3 steps
- Choose your plan on our eSIM page and enter code CONNECT at checkout.
- Install the eSIM before you travel by scanning the QR code you receive by email (most recent iPhones, Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel phones support eSIM).
- Turn on the eSIM line and data roaming for it when you land – your normal SIM can stay in the phone for calls and texts.
Travel tips
- Ride-hailing and transport apps make getting around easy – keep data for them.

- Install the eSIM at home on Wi-Fi before you fly.
Questions travellers ask
Is an eSIM worth it for a short Singapore stopover?
Yes. A small data plan is often enough for a stopover, and you avoid roaming charges from your home network.
When should I install it?
Install it a day or two before you fly, while you are on Wi-Fi at home. Then turn the eSIM line on when you land.
Does my phone support eSIM?
Most recent iPhones (XS and newer), Samsung Galaxy S and Z models and Google Pixel phones support eSIM. Your phone must also be unlocked. You can check under Settings: if you see “Add eSIM” or “Add mobile plan”, it is supported.
Can I keep my WhatsApp and my normal number?
Yes. The eSIM only gives you data. Your normal SIM and number stay in the phone, and WhatsApp keeps working with your usual number.
