Saudi Arabia eSIM for Umrah, Business and Travel
Travel eSIM data in 210+ countries
Going to Saudi Arabia for Umrah, business or a visit to Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah or Madinah? A travel eSIM gives you mobile data from the moment you land, so prayer-time apps, maps, transport and messages work without roaming bills.
Why use an eSIM here
- Data for maps, transport and group messages during Umrah.
- No SIM shop queue at the airport.
- Keep your home number for family calls and bank texts.
- Easy to share data with family through your phone’s hotspot (if your plan allows it).
How to get connected in 3 steps
- Choose your plan on our eSIM page and enter code CONNECT at checkout.
- Install the eSIM before you travel by scanning the QR code you receive by email (most recent iPhones, Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel phones support eSIM).
- Turn on the eSIM line and data roaming for it when you land – your normal SIM can stay in the phone for calls and texts.
Travel tips
- Install the eSIM before you fly and test that it appears in your settings.
- Keep your group leader’s and hotel’s numbers saved offline.
- Download offline maps of Makkah and Madinah as a backup.
Questions travellers ask
Is the eSIM good for Umrah pilgrims?
Yes. It gives you mobile data for maps, transport, messages and the apps you use during your trip, while your normal number stays active.
Can I use it in both Makkah and Madinah?
The eSIM works on Saudi mobile networks across the country. Coverage details for each plan are shown before you buy.
Does my phone support eSIM?
Most recent iPhones (XS and newer), Samsung Galaxy S and Z models and Google Pixel phones support eSIM. Your phone must also be unlocked. You can check under Settings: if you see “Add eSIM” or “Add mobile plan”, it is supported.
Can I keep my WhatsApp and my normal number?
Yes. The eSIM only gives you data. Your normal SIM and number stay in the phone, and WhatsApp keeps working with your usual number.
